Pros

Good hours, flexible schedule, and competitive pay here at Hendrick. The environment is friendly and interaction from management to entry level workers is very transparent, and just great experience.

Cons

Sometimes the workload can be very tiring due to low staff for Porters. You have to juggle multiple objectives at once and always stay alert. There is tension when work or the service drive gets really heavy to keep up with.

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
