Pros

Laid back environment, they do not fire based on performance

Cons

Call center job, VERY repetitive and boring. Most people you call do not want to be called and are difficult to talk to. Employees are divided into teams based on which dealerships you service, and bonus structure is based off of team production. It is easier to make bonuses depending on the team you are put in, it is somewhat unfair. Hendrick automotive group as a company has great culture and values, but unless you WANT to work in a call center with a crazy schedule, you wont like this position.

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
