Great place to work at with minor issues. - Accounting Specialist Hendrick Automotive Group Employee Review

Pros

Plenty of benefits such as free health insurance and tons of company events with free food and the like. Work culture is pretty chill, rarely any drama or micromanaging. Overall, not a bad experience at all.

Cons

Pay is mediocre for the work we are expected to do. Some of the work is done in a bit of an archaic way. Tons of paperwork when a large of majority of it is unnecessary. The programs we used feel extremely outdated and tedious. Also, zero working from home for regular employees but if a manager wants to do so here and there, it's completely fine. Didn't feel right to me.

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
