Pros

The vision statement behind Hendrick Automotive is what I truly abide by. Servant Leadership and putting customers first. I 100% agree with this vision on a day to day basis and try to live it at work. Customer service is by far the most important thing to me and always has been. For nearly four years I have given 100% of my effort and attention to this company. I don't know if it is because we are so far away from North Carolina or if there is a lack of care, but when money is involved the decision is always favored toward the store, regardless if it is right or wrong to the customer. Numerous instances of my own personal property being damaged (#1- someone opening my car door into a bush, scratching my door. Hendrick refused to fix it. They were changing my oil and they said its not their problem. This happened over two years ago. I gave them the estimate of $800 and they said not a chance. THEN, I decided to buy a vehicle from this company that my wife loved. A wrapped genesis GV80. During Recon, the brakes malfunctioned and the car I was in the process of buying crashed. I was told that it was going to be fixed. Since the vehicle was involved in an accident, I went ahead and started the process of taking it to the body shop where they gave an estimate of $4500 to fix everything. Since I was told it was going to be fixed, I told them to go ahead and get the process started. Later, my management berated me for "taking matters into my own hands", and said they would fix it their own way. The cheap way. They took it to their reconditioning team and had the bumper repainted/repaired with a not-reputable company(who did a poor job). I tried bringing up my concerns to the general manager, Anthony Jacobo, but instead of him being concerned about doing the right thing, he told me that I was "distracting employees and causing drama", and if I were to continue bringing it up I would be fired. Instead of fixing my car correctly, and spending $4500, the route that they took still cost them approximately $3700 and I was left with uncertainty if I were to still have a job or not. Fearing for my job because I trusted my company to do the right thing for me. Fast forward a year later, my salary has been cut approximately 25% overnight......I have given everything to Hendrick but they cannot say the same for me. Pros would be that they pay for your health insurance and it is a steady job.

Cons

Long hours, poor pay, toxic environment,
