I absolutely love working for this brand. I have grown up shopping at the Henri Bendel in New York and I was so excited to see that they have branched out the HB brand into mall stores. Once a mall store opened in my mall I was quick to apply! I fully believe in this brand and the direction that they are going in. They do not mass produce so you will not be seeing all of your friends with the same handbag or statement necklace. The Bendel Girl leads the pack, never follows the fold. I absolutely love the Bendel Experience. They really encourage their employees not only to have passion behind the brand, but to be knowledgable in fashion and how to really create a fun environment for the customers. There is a reason why people fall in love with the brand and become Bendel Girls: the people that work there and show the passion through their knowledge and excitement. Corporate really listens to the managers on store level. When management gives feed back, you can see it implemented in the next few weeks/months. The corporate really wants to support the stores and they do what they can do make any product, inventory, operational changes they can to help the brand grow.

If you have no passion for the brand, and no passion for fashion, and you just want to come to work to do the bare minimum, then this is not the company for you. You get as much out of this job as you put into it. This is not a place to simply clerk, you really have to work for the sale and be aware of current trends and how it relates back to the HB brand
