Pros
Relatively easy to get to - building located right above express train station in northern midtown. Friendly president and team. Many people were down to earth and hardworking. Casual attire. Strong commitment to "giving back" i.e. required scheduled community service.
Cons
Transient management in my department during my time there. I had multiple managers in a several month period. No real job training at all. A photocopied responsibility overview and half day of "training" on the first day. I personally did not feel comfortable asking questions as the feeling was I was expected to know exactly how things were supposed to be done/read someone's mind. Also, it felt as if the parent company's (Limited Brands) interests and priorities were on their brands/businesses and not on HB unfortunately. It is for that reason primarily I would not recommend HB to a job seeker - the future of the business seemed unstable to me.
