Pros
Good at training Health insurance benefits were nice
Cons
Oh god, where to begin? This is by far the most toxic place I’ve ever worked by a long shot. In the last 3 months, 4 people have walked out/straight up quit, 3 others have purposely got fired. Everyone dropped like flies; I’ve never seen that happen in any workplace ever. Firstly, all of leadership/management treats all CSRs like a number, a warm body. They do not value your physical/mental/emotional health whatsoever. They do NOT believe in sick days (yes, you read that correctly), and if you have to call out for whatever reason, they’ll give you a point (if you have 8 points on your record within 6 months, you’re terminated) AND they’ll take your hard earned PTO as a double punishment. So they take your vacation time AND you get penalized. Make that make sense??! They have this horrific point system for attendance, and it applies to every situation you can think of. It’s not situational at all and they 0 leniency or empathy for anything. Family member died and you need the day to go home? Point. Flight cancelled while you’re in another country and let your manager know 24 hrs in advance that you won’t be in the next day, showing them all the proof? Point. Headache and calling in sick? POINT. THEY. DO. NOT. CARE. ABOUT. YOU. Doesn’t matter how great your metrics are or how long you’ve been with them, you’re just a number. If you’re reading this and are considering a position at Heritage, DON’T. Just run, run fast. Anywhere is better than here. Trust me.
