Pros

Good medical benefits and insurance. Decent office space and sometimes work from home. They have some very good talent in certain business practices.

Cons

1) Senior level management does not listen to the information coming back from the field and customers 2) Senior level management does a poor job communicating direction or formulating and communication strategy (classic Ivory Tower Syndrome) 3) Execution is poor - work direction is communicated via the latest fire drill (brush fire management) 4) Layoffs are never ending

Work life balance. Vast portfolio to sell. Management that comes from Cisco and knows exactly what they are doing.

Probably compensation compared to others, but the stability is more important

Strong colleagues who are genuinely good to work with. Well-maintained offices and a comfortable working environment.

Cons

Internal politics take up more energy than they should. Technical decisions are frequently overridden by management preference rather than settled on technical merit, which slows things down and can leave engineers feeling their input carries little weight.
