Pros

1. Good Green-Campus 2. Festivals (Diwali/Pongal/New year/Onam) are celebrated in campus. Good for those who like such activities 3. Casual Dress code (Jeans/T-shirt). 4. Free Coffee/Tea vending machines 5. Bus fees costs just 1200 INR per month (irrespective of the distance).

Cons

1. You need to clock 9:15 minutes (average taken Quarterly). For every 4 hours shortage half-day will be deducted from Earned-Leave 2. There is only 24 per year Earned-Leave (EL) and 3 - Paternal Leave (PL). No Casual Leave. No Sick Leave. 3. No hikes/promotion for lateral employees or any one above 7 years of experience. You might need to strive hard. (+ Even if you get promotion, you need to write lot of online tests. Only on completion of those tests, you will actually receive the benefits of promotion). 4. Getting mapped to expected technology/project (when in bench) depends on your luck. 5. Health Insurance premium (when including dependents ) is high (approx. 18000 INR for including parents ). But for that premium amount, the floater coverage is 3-lakhs. It is very low. BTW, I do not think there is Life-insurance for the employee.

Pros

They gave me a job when I was running out of money. They had lots of courses that helped me learn how AI agents work. Very good health insurance

Cons

Absolutely no managerial support. No career advancement opportunities. I was basically hired to fill a chair in a staff aug capacity because someone at the client company thought there might be a need. There wasn't. And there was no way to get other work in other departments at the client company because it impacted billing and departmental budgets, and Hexaware didn't want to bother with that. But Hexaware was not interested in reassigning me, so after about 10 months of doing very little, I was let go by the client company so I could be replaced by a Java developer, which makes a lot more sense, since this was a back end team, and I'm a UX designer. Hexaware only allows a few weeks on the bench, and they had no work to put me on, so I was let go. Nobody said goodbye. They didn't even give me a computer. I had to use my own computer for this assignment.
