Pros

Good if you join chennai office in terms of project, onsite, increment perspective. Work quality doesnt matter so good if you are looking to join a company to relax as entire project load will be on couple of senior team members Too many epmloyee engagement programs here and there to keep up employee moral They are good in boosting stock price even when clients are leaving

Cons

Work quality and client deliverables is not the top priority instead following internal process and documentation is topmost priority and if you miss out you will be shamed by sending out broadcast emails. No increments. Even if you get, it will not linked to performance but instead depends on your relationships. You ask for technically strong candiates for project and you get freshers to save cost. As a result entire burden to keep project stable and avoid escalations is on couple of senior members who slog day and night. Rude management. Biased policies and management behaviour based on employee geography. All new projects, niche tech work, onsite opportunities, increments provided in favour of specific geography . Expects employees to go through udemy courses and clear assessments that assumes you have been working in that technology for 5+ years. And clearning these assessments is mandatory. Again the catch here is , its not mandatory if you have good contacts, you will still get good appraisals and promotion.

Pros

They gave me a job when I was running out of money. They had lots of courses that helped me learn how AI agents work. Very good health insurance

Cons

Absolutely no managerial support. No career advancement opportunities. I was basically hired to fill a chair in a staff aug capacity because someone at the client company thought there might be a need. There wasn't. And there was no way to get other work in other departments at the client company because it impacted billing and departmental budgets, and Hexaware didn't want to bother with that. But Hexaware was not interested in reassigning me, so after about 10 months of doing very little, I was let go by the client company so I could be replaced by a Java developer, which makes a lot more sense, since this was a back end team, and I'm a UX designer. Hexaware only allows a few weeks on the bench, and they had no work to put me on, so I was let go. Nobody said goodbye. They didn't even give me a computer. I had to use my own computer for this assignment.
