Decent pay with a lot of overtime

Cons

Incredibly long days (12-14). Exhausting and mind-numbing. It's not uncommon to get home at 12 and be expected to arrive at 6:30 the next day.

Treated like an adult - not micro-managed. You’re able to have agency and control in your decisions and process. Supportive team mates. Work is remote (location depends on project site and employee’s specific role in the project).

Cons

Mainly the low salary - especially in California - compared to similar roles in the area. Also, sometimes projects require long hours or weekend work and this can extend for months.
