Pros
Work-life balance at times was important to my GM. The opportunity to meet with new customers and grow your business without restrictions or "Territories". Fair pay for the industry's medium standards.
Cons
Company management claims they appreciate their employees but really "appreciate" is just a word to them. They ignore the most important for the higher paid. The CEO/CFO/Head of Sales & Operations is the same person. They value money over people and have no direction to grow relationships within the industry. The employees at HQ get treated much better than those at individual branches and you're constantly being judged on "what are you going to do next" as opposed to any gratitude for the success you have had. Morale is SUPER LOW on the side of Sales and Operations due to a lack of leadership. Leadership in the sales side is bidding business against the sales people, as are the operations team, a group of "accounts managers", and operations management.
