Pros

The people you work with usually are cool as there is a lot of bonding while on the road and struggling to literally move houses. Other than that, it's a job. It's a job that can put some kind of food on the table at the end of the day. That's about it.

Cons

Everything. Pay is awful compared to other moving companies. Hours suck. Tell you to come in super early only to leave for the job hours later and then management will try to take away those early hours you clock in the morning while you wait for them to get their act together.

Pros

Treated like an adult - not micro-managed. You’re able to have agency and control in your decisions and process. Supportive team mates. Work is remote (location depends on project site and employee’s specific role in the project).

Cons

Mainly the low salary - especially in California - compared to similar roles in the area. Also, sometimes projects require long hours or weekend work and this can extend for months.
