Pros

There were nine. This place was awful. I quit after 9 months.

Cons

The executive team allegiance to the general manager was like a cult "I'd jump off a bridge for him" they said...super weird. Senior management was emotionally abusive to managers, bullying, public embarrassment in ops meetings. Witnessed racial remarks by an executive leader to two employees, reported it an nothing was done. This was truly a scary place. I got out of hospitality after this. Not to mention I was paid 55k in a place where it costs 6-figures to live. I was underpaid. Left this place and doubled my salary with my next job.

Pros

The location in Belltown is good, very close to downtown."

Cons

Workplace abuse and lack of empathy in Housekeeping I want to share my account as a former employee to warn future workers and to prompt senior management to take action. The atmosphere in the Housekeeping department is extremely hostile due to a complete lack of empathy and the abusive behavior of two individuals: the department head and a supervisor who has only recently taken on the role. This new supervisor constantly abuses her authority and seems to take pleasure in humiliating and mistreating new hires. She lacks both patience and professionalism, and all of this happens with the backing of the department head, who allows these abuses to continue rather than correcting them.It is a real shame, because there is another supervisor at the hotel who has been in her role much longer and is the exact opposite: a woman with immense empathy who is extremely kind, patient, and respectful toward all the staff—especially the new hires. Unfortunately, the work experience becomes unbearable due to the arrogance of the boss and the new supervisor. I hope hotel management pays attention to this, because they are losing valuable employees by failing to put a stop to the abusive behavior of these two individuals.
