Pros

Great time off accrual. Flexible work schedules. Discounted room nights "Team Member Appreciation Week" Random Pizza Day Casual work attire.

Cons

WELL BELOW (20-40% below) market pay. *But they spend a TON of money for "benefits" such as team member appreciation and other random things.* Routinely roll out programs that are not fully tested and have multiple problems. Do not invest money in IT programs that EVERY property uses for financial reporting! Upper mid level management doesn't post other mid level (director/assistant director) positions online. Most of these positions are more or less discussed between other mid level managers and then given to someone without being communicated like other open positions. Promotions only happen from entry level positions, rarely into mid level and only then it is given to someone's "friend". This causes high levels of turnover in the Revenue Specialist position.

Pros

The location in Belltown is good, very close to downtown."

Cons

Workplace abuse and lack of empathy in Housekeeping I want to share my account as a former employee to warn future workers and to prompt senior management to take action. The atmosphere in the Housekeeping department is extremely hostile due to a complete lack of empathy and the abusive behavior of two individuals: the department head and a supervisor who has only recently taken on the role. This new supervisor constantly abuses her authority and seems to take pleasure in humiliating and mistreating new hires. She lacks both patience and professionalism, and all of this happens with the backing of the department head, who allows these abuses to continue rather than correcting them.It is a real shame, because there is another supervisor at the hotel who has been in her role much longer and is the exact opposite: a woman with immense empathy who is extremely kind, patient, and respectful toward all the staff—especially the new hires. Unfortunately, the work experience becomes unbearable due to the arrogance of the boss and the new supervisor. I hope hotel management pays attention to this, because they are losing valuable employees by failing to put a stop to the abusive behavior of these two individuals.
