Pros

Employee Meals, Hilton Worldwide offers great opportunities at other locations. This location seems to be where they send lemons.

Cons

Human Resources Department is the place to be. If you work here, look around at some of the incompetent coworkers and managers, and recognize that they were hired by the HR department! Clearly they are underperforming, but have zero accountability! They just keep hiring more losers and blaming the workers instead of themselves. They should recognize that workers are 'internal customers.' I had a much higher opinion of Hilton before working here, and am now unable not to share my experience with others. I do not want the Hilton reputation to suffer, but it has due to some of the hires at this location.

Pros

The location in Belltown is good, very close to downtown."

Cons

Workplace abuse and lack of empathy in Housekeeping I want to share my account as a former employee to warn future workers and to prompt senior management to take action. The atmosphere in the Housekeeping department is extremely hostile due to a complete lack of empathy and the abusive behavior of two individuals: the department head and a supervisor who has only recently taken on the role. This new supervisor constantly abuses her authority and seems to take pleasure in humiliating and mistreating new hires. She lacks both patience and professionalism, and all of this happens with the backing of the department head, who allows these abuses to continue rather than correcting them.It is a real shame, because there is another supervisor at the hotel who has been in her role much longer and is the exact opposite: a woman with immense empathy who is extremely kind, patient, and respectful toward all the staff—especially the new hires. Unfortunately, the work experience becomes unbearable due to the arrogance of the boss and the new supervisor. I hope hotel management pays attention to this, because they are losing valuable employees by failing to put a stop to the abusive behavior of these two individuals.
