Pros

Lots of diverse opportunities both in location and roles. If you're willing to try new things, sky's the limit here. We also have great people - its hard to find people more passionate for their company than Hilton employees! They LOVE Hilton! We also know how to have fun too, which never hurts. My favorite part of working at Hilton though is the ability to push really big, impact, innovative projects - if you build a solid business case, you can almost always find a way to get it done which is very unique.

Cons

As with any big, global company, you need a lot of approvals and buy-in to move projects forward. This isn't a negative but just a reality of the job. With the right attitude it is fine, but some people get frustrated by this aspect.

Pros

The location in Belltown is good, very close to downtown."

Cons

Workplace abuse and lack of empathy in Housekeeping I want to share my account as a former employee to warn future workers and to prompt senior management to take action. The atmosphere in the Housekeeping department is extremely hostile due to a complete lack of empathy and the abusive behavior of two individuals: the department head and a supervisor who has only recently taken on the role. This new supervisor constantly abuses her authority and seems to take pleasure in humiliating and mistreating new hires. She lacks both patience and professionalism, and all of this happens with the backing of the department head, who allows these abuses to continue rather than correcting them.It is a real shame, because there is another supervisor at the hotel who has been in her role much longer and is the exact opposite: a woman with immense empathy who is extremely kind, patient, and respectful toward all the staff—especially the new hires. Unfortunately, the work experience becomes unbearable due to the arrogance of the boss and the new supervisor. I hope hotel management pays attention to this, because they are losing valuable employees by failing to put a stop to the abusive behavior of these two individuals.
