Pros

Amazing growth opportunities , and meet amazing people from around the world.

Cons

Micro managing ruined my eagerness to grow ( at this property) , decided to go from salary to hourly because I was managing 4 departments, working almost 70+ hours a week but as salary manager, I was only paid 80 bi weekly... Literally averaging 60 hours a check not paid.... When I started I only had 2 outlets to manage by 4th year.. I had 4. With only one raise (minimal). I loved my job bc of my staff and servers, but I couldn't do it anymore. Upper management, directors, GM did not give a hoot about me. And everything I did for them.

Pros

The location in Belltown is good, very close to downtown."

Cons

Workplace abuse and lack of empathy in Housekeeping I want to share my account as a former employee to warn future workers and to prompt senior management to take action. The atmosphere in the Housekeeping department is extremely hostile due to a complete lack of empathy and the abusive behavior of two individuals: the department head and a supervisor who has only recently taken on the role. This new supervisor constantly abuses her authority and seems to take pleasure in humiliating and mistreating new hires. She lacks both patience and professionalism, and all of this happens with the backing of the department head, who allows these abuses to continue rather than correcting them.It is a real shame, because there is another supervisor at the hotel who has been in her role much longer and is the exact opposite: a woman with immense empathy who is extremely kind, patient, and respectful toward all the staff—especially the new hires. Unfortunately, the work experience becomes unbearable due to the arrogance of the boss and the new supervisor. I hope hotel management pays attention to this, because they are losing valuable employees by failing to put a stop to the abusive behavior of these two individuals.
