Pros

Vacation time and sometimes they bring donuts, company parties. Trying to meet 20 word minimum... not enough pros to qualify.

Cons

Work environment was very, VERY hostile. The sales team will fight amongst each other over who is the rightful owner to a single %5 commission that two people have somehow “touched” within the allotted time to garner the commission. You’ll make a little money when you first start, but leads dry up quickly, especially when other employees poach your leads and sometimes your territory. No room for advancement- don’t let them lie to you and say there is!! If you have a problem, Management doesn’t exactly keep it confidential. Sales goals will become unattainable so you can never reach your “bonus” and management can always keep a target on your back when you don’t meet your goal (you can start as low as 16k per month for a goal you have to meet. I’ve seen them as high as 50k per month!! Impossible!!!!). If you don’t meet your goal, you can be verbally warned or written up until you’re let go. Management will also raise your goal until you cannot attain it anymore and then scorn you for “not trying hard enough”. If you don’t make the amount of “door knocks” or phone calls you are supposed to, they have a special chart they made for Microsoft excel that will add the remainder you didn’t get to into your next day of work, so if you needed to knock on 60 doors per day and one day you only knocked on 30 doors because you were talking to customers, guess how many you have to knock on the next work day? 90! AND they’ll still want you to talk to a certain amount of live people as well as making follow up phone calls and appointments from your car. You have the disadvantage to get so far behind that you would just have to find another job. You are expected to work 2 Saturday’s a month to make up for days where you didn’t have as many contacts or couldn’t finish them all/you fell behind (and while you’re out sick or on vacation, those days you did not come in will roll over into what you did not complete! You have to knock on 60 doors per day, but you want 2 days vacation? That’s fine, you have to knock on 180 doors when you get back though! What you don’t finish rolls over!). Sometimes weekend work is used as a punishment. The company is always claiming to be growing but the only “growing” they’re doing is in their prices. Branches will profile communities to price gouge (if you’re in a low income area, expect about 130.00 for an initial treatment. If you’re in a high income area expect about 220.00 for an initial treatment of the same size of home as the low income area.), and if you think you’ll make money working at a branch in a high income area, think again. If other coworkers have an issue with you, you will both be punished, even if the victim does not reciprocate actions or words and keeps to themselves as they try to cling to employment. They don’t handle problems well. You will BOTH be punished. I could go on and on. I really could. I personally enjoyed being there for the first 3 months. After that, the leads stopped coming and other employees were cut throat for the smallest of commission (one sales rep had a verbal fight with me over a $15 commission that was proven to rightfully be mine.). I would avoid this company unless you need your resume to say you have office experience. That’s the beet you can come to expect from this company. Just do your time and move on to what you needed it on your resume for.

Pros

Can make as much money as you want if you work hard and take work from others if you complete all of yours before the month is over

Cons

mgmt is never there when you need them but will come at you for small things they always ask for suggestions on how to make the job better and easier but never implement them. too many meetings that slow down production. just like the pro about taking work from others they can also take work from you without asking resulting in money being taken away from you.
