The company is a nightmare, both as a client and employee. The systems are out of date, communication is abysmal at best, agents are leaving in droves, and upper management constantly hounds you if you take your earned PTO. I was told I would be trained and moved around since I have experience and multiple degrees. The managers in charge of training are so lacking that in the year I was there, everyone but me and one other of the 10 who started in my class quit before the 3 month mark. I stayed for a year and never got the trainings or subsequent promotions I was promised, despite being an exemplary employee (according to my reviews). The company also pushes reps to do more than they are hired for, while rarely doling out raises or incentives. When you have a minor infraction (like being out of work because your child is sick and needs to be picked up from school) your shift is bumped back to the least desirable, since you “aren’t a team player”. The company sends out gifts like logo sweatshirts and coffee cups…. What a joke. I would never wear that emblem out in public. Respect in the workplace is much more important. Multiple times on company wide meetings, the PowerPoints the “higher ups” had put together included photos with clear watermarks- something I now teach my third graders to avoid. These PowerPoints were littered with grammatical errors and misspellings. Leaders tried to encourage us by offering prizes for leads. One had the nerve to say “with these prizes, maybe I’ll get back on the phones!” No. No, you won’t. Because your luxe salary provides you enough money to buy yourself these items (like a Bluetooth speaker, camping gear, AirPods) and you don’t have to count your hours. Management also constantly told us that we should work overtime, that working more hours made us team players and more promotable. No, work life balance with pleasant coworkers makes me promotable. Or giving the training that I was promised makes me promotable. Zero percent recommend working here or taking your business here.
