Toxic culture - Claims Adjuster Horace Mann Employee Review

Management here is terrible and is seriously ruining the company. There is a “gotcha” mentality and it’s not possible to meet all of their expectations or meet goals all the time due to the volume and workload. Micromanaging here is the worst I’ve ever seen and management in general just seems incompetent. Files are documented incorrectly but if you don’t document that in your files it can be deemed as “not following management direction” and you can get written up. They seem to have a running list of things that you aren’t doing right. Another thing I’ve noticed here is management tends to retaliate and they bully people and act more like prison guards then a source of support. Culture here is so toxic and it made the job unbearable.
