Pros

Working with the community and having a diverse team that represents our communities in age , gender , and ethnicity etc is a plus . I have seen great improvements since our new CEO has been in her position . There is a respect for employees, holiday bonuses , acknowledgement of milestones and goals met , and overall improvement in morale . Our CEO understands the importance of our work , the effort it takes as she has worked in MH for years . We are Continually encouraged, praised and rewarded for our efforts in promoting quality care for our consumers .

Cons

It would be nice to see some improvements in older buildings that have been around for years

Pros

The coworkers built lifetime friendships

Cons

Small groups are often at odds with employees, catty at times Pay discrepancies Employees are given cases based on supervisor preference After seeing the HR response, I don't feel right keeping silent any longer. I was a longterm employee. I was often handed the most dangerous cases despite pleas for my safety and offering suggestions on how to improve safety. This was not even remedied after a very violent situation in the office. I became aware than brand new trainees far exceeded my rate of pay with multiple years of experience and the credentials. We once had a meeting with the CEO at that time where he asked what would improve satisfaction. My suggestions were employee safety and salary evaluations due to unfair pay. The HR rep commenting on reviews reportedly approached my supervisor, advising her that I was "inappropriately challenging" him. After frank conversations with my coworkers and supervisors (not my own) that were present in the meeting, I am confident that I did not inappropriately address my concerns.
