Promoting female leaders in all areas of our company is something we strive for. Women are an integral piece of our business and we continue to develop and promote them. Our resource group Women’s Insight Network and our mentorship program continues to help develop and strengthen skill sets for females so they can be promoted in the company.

Pros

I love working at Hormel, its easy to say but this really is a tight knit family culture, the people are what make this company awesome. I am given the freedom to express my skills and perform to the best of my availabilities without anyone looking over my shoulder. Hormel gives their employees the room and space to shine, the tools and support to grow and develop. The sky is truly the limit here as far as how far you want to go if you are willing to commit and work hard.

Cons

I dont think its a con however, some might. In some cases you may need to be willing to move to different cities or states to progress your career, however the company will pay to move you.
