Pros
Let's be fair and reiterate what you'll see all over this review board: Houzz has some great perks. Full stocked kitchen, all you can drink coffee (you'll need it), catered breakfast on Mondays, catered lunch on Fridays, a slide that connects both floors, impressive decor all over the office, sales incentives and rewards, great work-life balance and some awesome benefits. Your colleagues are also very nice and friendly. Sounds pretty sweet, right?
Cons
The company is hip and modern, but the AMPD role is rough. I'm really not sure how anyone reviewing this position can say that they love it. The truth is that if you enjoy a job that involves sitting in an office all day and cold-calling 80% of the time you're there, then this is the job for you. You'll read older reviews that say that the prospects you call are happy to hear from us and they enjoy speaking. Psh, those are the small percentage of clients that haven't been called by 3 or 4 reps in the past. Let's call it what it is: telesales. You basically work in a great-looking outbound call center. It's a position that doesn't really leave you fulfilled. You're selling advertising so you don't really know how much you've actually helped the person on the other end of the phone.
