      Pros

      Coworkers at some of the branches are wonderful and supportive because we are all in the same boat. Good PTO Branch Management supportive at some branches, not at all of them. Good as a starter job in banking.

      Cons

      Relationship Manager is a glorified Teller position with more workload for poor pay. Busy branches like Poughkeepsie are chronically short of Tellers. High turnover. Some areas/branches have indifferent management, looking for warm bodies to sit in a chair. Reliance on several pieces of third party software creates overly complicated and clunky data processing and member interactions. Knowledge Center for processing is so so. Lots of time spent on fraud with members, could be several root causes. Training is so so, just concentrates on two pieces of software, not the other seven and the associated subsystems.

      Pros

      It's a great company with good benefits and the work can be really fun. It's also a very diverse credit union with good values, which is great!

      Cons

      People's experience at the credit union varies widely depending on the branch and management. You are also observed by management a ton.
