Pros
Getting the job is not the most difficult - in hindsight this is due to high turnover of staff. The daily rate is good if you can hit target otherwise you are not paid. It comes down to the luck of the draw with the cases you are assigned. Sometimes you get a big case but if you are given small ones its very likely you can not make up the deficit. it is set up in such a manner to ensure that you will get the shortest straw.
Cons
'This is contracting you will not be paid this week until you hit X' - This is what you are threatened with by management every day and repeatedly on a DAILY basis. This creates the worst atmosphere of master and a demoralised slave workforce. You make friends with colleagues who randomly disappear - you eventually become accustomed to the regular unannounced quiet mass sacking for not hitting target. The 'career prospects' the other reviews are speaking of is seriously misleading.
