Pros
When I initially joined HW, I was impressed with the recruitment stages - the equipment arrived promptly and training began. The 3rd party client training us was professional and friendly, over the large training group spanning over numerous weeks; we had fun and learnt a great deal about the sector. The agents, myself and newly elected agent team leader had fun... Sadly that's where the fun ended at Huntswood.
Cons
This is where the real horror begins - upon completion of the client training I was thrown in the deep end with a manager completely new to HW who knew nothing about my campaign so was no help throughout and with the majority of us still WFH at this point... It was difficult. Months down the line, our team hear rumours that the campaign is coming to an end. None of the QA staff were notified, we were clueless and felt our jobs weren't secure. "Manager" acted completely ignorant, stating they were unaware and constantly reassured us we would be safe. New week arrives and I witnessed the worst redundancy process in the history of my career. Bullying culture involving agents, I witnessed agents be mocked by management and QA alike. Zero commissions even if job ad and HW website state otherwise. HR was diabolical and virtually none existent, I didn't even have a basic contact given to me. I had to guess their email details. Witnessed a male colleague suffer a serious mental health crisis at work which will stay with me forever. Just terrible and such little support.
