Pros
Winning all the time on test machines will inoculate against concerns of addiction. It eventually got boring, and I no longer want to play them in the wild. It's easier than mobile and AAA jobs, with better salaries, almost no crunch, simple projects to work on, and short production cycles. There are also interesting art challenges to keep the work engaging. The company has great and talented people with a supportive culture. I got to work with intentional studios and had lots of learning opportunities.
Cons
In my particular office, there was a lot of politics, with management struggling to become more efficient. There needed to be a change in leadership to bring in new agile practices, but I’ve heard it’s changing for the better.
