Pros

The building itself is very lovely to work in. Very clean, and proffesional. The majority of staff within the Brierley Hill office are extremely friendly and helpful. The benefit structure is excellent. Major discounts on hotel's, generous overtime pay. A brilliant company to work for as a reservations agent for a couple of years to gain experience and then to move on.

Cons

An extremely poor commission structure. Paid quarterly. To get maximum commission you need to have 100% attendance for the whole quarter (3 months) which is fair enough, but also you need to hit a revenue per call target. There is no overall revenue target to hit. The calculation to work out commission is something the mayans would be proud of. I get about £80-£100 every quarter which is nice at the end of the month, but it isn't exactly big money. I could have generated £300,000+ of revenue in a quarter overall and you hardly get any bonus worthwhile. This is why i'm changing companies. It is great for experience but not for earning big money. The hours are ridiculous. You can work anything from a 7am-3pm to a 2pm-10pm shift and the majority of the time you have to work 2 weekends in every 4. The working week starts on a Saturday and for some reason the company can rota you on for a 9 day stretch without a day off. This is a grey area and must be infringing on some sort of law but i;m sure when you sign your contract you accept to working longer than usual. One of the targets like I mentioned above, is not based on gross revenue generated. It is calculated with the gross revenue divided by the amount of calls taken in a week. your 'Net Revenue Per Call Handled' This is a poor may of monetring performance as you can deliberately take less calls once you have made a lot of good bookings and still keep your Revenue Per Call average high.

Pros

Great place to work. At times work can seem chaotic with too many things going on at once but overall, the employees make the work environment and most everyone I worked with were incredible individuals to work with.

Cons

Lot of changes happening all the time which I guess is to be expected but can sometimes be unorganized and chaotic at times. It really depends on the leadership.
