I was very skeptical of this company even before I started working here. I read some of the other reviews and thought I'd give it a try anyway. Worst decision I've made in my entire life. They offered home office, amenities such as coffee and pilates, the possibility of personal and professional growth, among many other things. Home office is frowned upon, coffee costs 30 cents per serving (and is disgusting), Snacks are also paid separately (80 cents) , pilates is practiced in the breakout area where people eat and have meetings, absolutely no room for personal or professional growth. Suggestions and complaints are forever lost in oblivion. Work between departments is as tedious as it sounds. No one is willing to take responsibility and no one is to blame but the newcomers. Manager positions are the only ones taken seriously, the rest is here for around 6 months or as soon as they find an alternative job. The system they use is obsolete and frustrating. Salary is incredibly low compared to other companies. Don't be surprised if after your 6 month "Probezeit" you are let go, this is how they function. Human resources won't ever help you with anything so don't even bother to ask. When I first came in they were all very nice to me, of course, but only after a couple of weeks I had lost all my motivation. Positive reviews are most certainly from the boss or one of the managers, they sometimes ask you to leave a good review. I would never ever recommend a job in this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Fingers off.

As an organization, we are committed to listening to our employees and take suggestions seriously so we are sorry to hear that you feel this is not the case. During the recruitment process we try to be as transparent as possible, particularly around our fixed policies on areas such as home working. It is therefore disappointing for us to hear that your experience has not met expectations. In an idea world we agree that it would be great to have a separate room for our weekly Pilates classes. These sessions are extremely popular with our employees however and in order to meet the demand we do hold them in our breakout area as this is the largest available space. This area is clean and employees are provided with mats to use during the session. We also acknowledge that our IT system has previously had problems and are working to improve this, having now moved to a new provider that is significantly upgrading our system. Alongside this, we have recently made investments in our HR team as we appreciate this department had been overstretched in the past. As such, we have increased the size of the HR team, allowing us to increase our bandwidth and the depth of support that we are able to offer our employees. Title: Great company to work for with an agile and talented team Pros: Working as a Portfolio Manager at IQPC was a great experience. The company is incredibly agile and has a strong ability to adapt to market changes, which is vital in the highly competitive events and conferences industry. This adaptability allows IQPC to stay ahead of trends and continue delivering relevant and high-quality events. The people here are some of the smartest and most capable I’ve had the pleasure of working with — it’s clear that IQPC attracts top talent and fosters a collaborative, supportive environment. One of the standout aspects of the company is how much they invest in their rising talent. There are continuous opportunities for development, and the performance-based pay structure is a great motivator. It not only rewards individual contributions but also drives the company’s success as a whole. This culture of incentivizing high performance was one of the key factors in my own personal and professional growth while there. Overall: IQPC is a solid company with a lot of potential for growth. The leadership is forward-thinking, the people are sharp, and the culture rewards results. While the sales team dynamic might not be perfect, it’s a small downside in an otherwise great work environment. Would recommend to anyone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting!

Cons

Cons: Like many fast-paced companies, there is a bit of ego on the sales team. While this is somewhat expected in a high-energy, results-driven environment, it can occasionally cause friction between departments. However, this is something that can be managed with effective communication and collaboration. For junior staff it can be a challenging environment to meet deadlines.

people were nice enough to work with

Cons

I worked for SSON, our managing director liked to preach that they advocated for their employees, but I was let go, through no fault of my own per their words, after bad training and no real support for the new role I was taking on. Also, there is zero work/life balance despite being able to work from home 2 days a week, my team was exhausted and upper management did not care.
