Pros

Working with some great people. That's about it..

Cons

I worked here for over a year as a marketing manager and it was the most stressful experience of my life. As you read my review of IQPC Exchange, you might think "They're just being dramatic," but trust me, I wouldn't have spent the time to write all of this if it weren't true. Plus, all of the positive reviews you see were written by the recruiters or management teams to persuade people to apply for the entry level sales jobs. - Crappy pay - $35,000 annual salary as a Marketing Manager (85% below the average salary for mktg managers) - HEAVY workload for just one person - one manager is assigned to each event and is responsible for creating and executing the marketing plans (Website creation, SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, analytics & reporting, ALL advertisement & content design, Google Ads campaigns, paid social campaigns, media partnerships, onsite event materials, and more). I should mention that they are managing all of this for 4 to 6 events at one time. oh yeah... and you don't even get to travel to your events most of the time. -Everyone on the marketing team works 50 to 60 hours per week WITHOUT additional pay. They also get paid less than most of the sales reps. - Management does not care about you and does not listen to advice. They don't have any proper leadership training and honestly just got to the top because everyone else quit and they were forced to take on more responsibility. - Nepotism, office drama, and affairs are commonplace. - Very high turnover. The highest I've ever seen/heard of at any organization. - No diversity in the workplace. The sales managers only hire attractive, young girls with the exception of a few token individuals - probably required by corporate to prevent lawsuits. It feels just like a frat/sorority (In a bad way). - The office is super boring and does not have anything on the walls. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Management is corrupt and the office politics are ridiculous. There is a very obvious social structure and if you speak your mind at all, they get rid of you. This company needs a serious change if they want to avoid going bankrupt. Please trust me. Put yourself first and save your time, energy, and sanity - do not sign your life over to this company.

Pros

Title: Great company to work for with an agile and talented team Pros: Working as a Portfolio Manager at IQPC was a great experience. The company is incredibly agile and has a strong ability to adapt to market changes, which is vital in the highly competitive events and conferences industry. This adaptability allows IQPC to stay ahead of trends and continue delivering relevant and high-quality events. The people here are some of the smartest and most capable I’ve had the pleasure of working with — it’s clear that IQPC attracts top talent and fosters a collaborative, supportive environment. One of the standout aspects of the company is how much they invest in their rising talent. There are continuous opportunities for development, and the performance-based pay structure is a great motivator. It not only rewards individual contributions but also drives the company’s success as a whole. This culture of incentivizing high performance was one of the key factors in my own personal and professional growth while there. Overall: IQPC is a solid company with a lot of potential for growth. The leadership is forward-thinking, the people are sharp, and the culture rewards results. While the sales team dynamic might not be perfect, it’s a small downside in an otherwise great work environment. Would recommend to anyone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting!

Cons

Cons: Like many fast-paced companies, there is a bit of ego on the sales team. While this is somewhat expected in a high-energy, results-driven environment, it can occasionally cause friction between departments. However, this is something that can be managed with effective communication and collaboration. For junior staff it can be a challenging environment to meet deadlines.

Pros

people were nice enough to work with

Cons

I worked for SSON, our managing director liked to preach that they advocated for their employees, but I was let go, through no fault of my own per their words, after bad training and no real support for the new role I was taking on. Also, there is zero work/life balance despite being able to work from home 2 days a week, my team was exhausted and upper management did not care.
