They allowed me take a leave of absence instead of terminating me and then rehiring me.
Cons
Everything else. They cheated me out of a lot of we'll deserved pay because the supervisor didn't put my raise in when he was supposed to. Spent more than a month of run around trying to get it resolved. The company said they would back pay me for that time, then reneged on that. Cheated me out of overtime hours because the HR person "didn't hear me say" I wanted to use a vacation day. They have very unrealistic production expectations, specially since they don't want to invest in the tools and proper maintenance to help their workers get the quality and quantity job done. Machines go down, the employees are to blame for not making quota. Management doesn't get along.
