Pros
When you look at a job description and you see "We're a family" or "Join or work family" what do you think? To me, and I would guess to many, that would seem like a red flag. To quote a recent Dan Price FB post 'If you see "We're like a family" in a job ad, run like hell.' In a lot of cases that is true. Many places I've worked have exploited workers' good nature and work-ethic to overwork them for unfair compensation. That's not the case at ITT. Management here isn't about using their employees as tools. Everyone you work with here actually cares about my well being and my happiness. In most cases ITT values our happiness over business needs. If you're not happy with the kind of work you're doing and you want to change your path, management will go out of their way to put you where you want to be. It's fully flexible for working from home or in the office. I love having the option to stay home with my family whenever I need to, but going into the office is actually fun.
Cons
Even though the people-first culture here is genuine, and it's a Pro for me, it's not for everybody. If you just want a job the culture certainly could be overwhelming. Our CEO, Jeet, is a very, very passionate person who wants to help everyone become better people. If the top brass taking an interest in your personal as well as professional growth, we might not be a fit for you.
