Pros
The work/life balance was amazing, supervisor even encouraged us to clock out on time to make sure we were taking care of ourselves. The interactions I had with other employees at the company were nothing short of amazing. So many people there were so nice to me. I was able to negotiate a salary increase when being offered my position so there's a lot of flexibility for that but not much wiggle room.
Cons
My main gripe with the company (only my experience so take with a grain of salt) but I felt like the onboarding process/training they provided for me to work my job well was lacking. There's little to no documentation on a lot of things that are done. Instead, they encouraged asking questions which I get but I was hoping someone could walk me through more in-depth understandings of the environment I was working in. The people that they parntered me with were honestly not the best teachers and it just led me to more frustration. A dedicated trainer would have probably been a good investment. Also, I felt a lack of professionalism at times with a few members at the company and while I get it, it just felt a bit lacking at times. I was hit with a round of layoffs 6 months into my role which really sucked given I left a company that I was at for over two years just to be laid of only 6 months into my journey @ InformData.
