Pros
Good work life balance
It's a known commodity
You can advance or change business units across Harris (if you drink the cool-aide and end up in the right 9-box)
Cons
People are just expendable resources and moves are made based on metrics and cost analysis - very robotic
Stagnating product, tech stack - not much progress nor innovation
You probably won't be challenged to develop or grow. That's good if you're lazy, but bad if you ever find yourself looking for a new job.
Advanced degrees are not subsidized
It's all about squeezing money out of existing business for as long as they can while minimizing costs. You can essentially forget about anything except modest (1-3%) pay increases, even for exceptional performers.
They fall further behind and have essentially missed the AI boat.
Little vision or creative leadership... has been a revolving door for 5 years (5 different CEO/EVPs in 4 years)
