Pros

Remaining employees are great and very talented. However, you will quickly realize that leadership is the exact opposite and will have zero influence on your professional career. Leadership also does a tremendous job of tricking people to work for them with deceit, promises, and outright laughable earnings potential. Be very wary and reach out to those on LinkedIn for the inside scoop before committing.

Cons

Below average commission rates btw 2.5%-3.5%. Zero professional development because leadership doesn't know how nor realize the benefits of doing so. Bookings are questionable at best and kinda remind me of cotton candy....looks sweet and delicious on the outside but mostly filled with fluff and air. My advice would be to travel as much as possible, see the country, and stay out of the office away from the jabroni's running the show. The more you sell....the less you sell because of current sales operations. Prepare to manage your closed deals thus limiting future success.

Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to creating and maintaining a transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees so I’m disappointed to hear about some of your experiences . We value and consider all feedback and we’ll continue to find ways to improve but wanted to address a few of your specific concerns. Professional development is something that is crucial to us as an organization in order to retain good talent. As an organization we continue to create levels and layers within each department to enable growth in addition to the $5,000 annual education reimbursement that is available to all employees. We trust our employees as professional adults with the freedom to take control of their careers at Ingenious Med and explore various internal opportunities. Our wish is that any employee would feel comfortable speaking up if there is additional professional development they would like to pursue. We continue to evaluate the compensation structure of the sales organization annually including the variable compensation piece. With the upcoming changes in 2017, we are in-line with the market and industry. Thank you again for your feedback; it truly helps us make Ingenious Med a better place and best of luck in your future endeavors. Whitney Bennett HR Director

Pros

A decent financial offering at time of hire, although details were not forthright without probing; 2015 excellent hiring process- warm, inviting, presented family work environment which presented a word of caution yet leadership appeared sincere. Assisted in recruiting other talent due to positive culture presented.

Cons

Within 6 weeks of starting, it became aware that the company was in need of unifying a work culture; desperately need a baseline visionary strategy and must respect the expensive talent recruited who are in quick need of looking elsewhere. This feels like a business crisis. Reading previous comments about favoritism of staff is a very lenient statement. Abuses abound with the legacy staff ( 10 years or longer) and the heart-line staff ( closer to 5 to 7 years) with the bulk of the newer hires ( last 18 months), left trying to move the company and their team mates forward. It is also rumored that the leadership ( 1 to 2 persons) are so aware of employee discontent, that requests have been made of staff to post positive comments on Glassdoor to counteract negative remarks. This is childish, almost paranoid, unethical behavior. Beyond these issues, it is paralyzing the company causing the client base to take notice.

Pros

There are some very nice people that work here. The snacks aren’t bad either. The work/life balance is pretty good.

Cons

The culture is systemically toxic, mostly because the investment company that now own it only care about making money. They have had 2 large layoffs and each time tried to spin it as a positive. HR complaints fall in deaf ears and people that should be let go, aren’t; whole the good ones are sent packing. There are way too many chiefs and not enough worker bees to actually do the needed work and then in the layoffs, no management is cut.
