Pros
Great place to acquire on the job training in a light industrial environment. Travel pay to and from the job 10 days on and 4 days off 401k second to none For the individual that truly wants to advance in their career and isn’t scared to work, brave the elements, and travel, there isn’t a better job. You will move up if you are a ‘take the bull by the horns’ kinda guy. Competitive pay and regular raises if your work commands it... I could go on and on about the pros of this job but in the interest of time and space, I’ll let the aforementioned serve as a sufficient illustration.
Cons
There are some cons on a logistical level due to project managers, purchasing, etc running the job from several states away most of the time. It takes a little longer to get things sometimes but if the foreman look ahead far enough, and communicate properly, it cuts it down to a minimum
