Pros

A lot of drinking events. Cool people. They’ll offer you the job before you even have time to interview anywhere else. You can build some good connections/ networking skills. Fun travel events. Free breakfast on Fridays.

Cons

Where do I even begin? Working for this company was a terrible experience and anyone who has previously worked there will agree. This is the most toxic environment you can work in. Management uses scare tactics, you have constant anxiety, can’t sleep at night from the stress. Almost all of your time is towards insight global. Even when you’re out of the office after 5 you can still expect to see yourself at a work related event. The micromanaging is insane. You will constantly be put down and constantly told various reasons as to why you’re not doing good enough. Apparently nothing is good enough even when you making the company tons of money. You’ll be criticized about anything you can imagine - not personal enough, not good looking enough, not fun enough, not enough energy. It’s insane and it’s mentally draining. It’s pretty much a corporate version of a sorority/ fraternity . The competitive culture is fun for so long until it becomes cut throat. You’ll be pushing for promotions and will be pinned against another recruiter fighting for one spot. Eventually (maybe not for a lot of people) youll get promoted and then you’re pinned against your colleagues fighting over territories. The numbers you have to hit each week are absurd and every single person fakes their numbers. It’s actually normal to cry at this job during work hours from stress. It happens all the time and for some reason it is normalized. Yes, people in this company can make a lot of money but do not let that be the sole reason you stay. I promise it is not worth it do not listen to the corporate recruiters. Even the clients you meet will talk about how much of a joke staffing companies are. Everyone here has made close friends with each other but a lot of that comes from bonding over how miserable their professional lives are from working here and the fact that you spend every hour together. Stay as far away as you can.

Pros

If you are competitive and actually want to make money, the culture here is unmatched. They train you incredibly well from day one, so you never feel lost. The promotion path is super clear you literally get out what you put in. My team has been incredibly supportive and everyone genuinely wants to see you win

Cons

It's an absolute grind, not gonna lie. The hours can be really long, especially during your first year when you're trying to build your book of business. If you hate cold calling or can't handle high-pressure metrics, you probably wont't survive here

Pros

Lots of virtue signaling. Halloween was huge.

Cons

IG has one of the most toxic workplace cultures I've experienced. Poor leadership, cliquish behavior, constant office drama, frequent verbal abuse, and an excessively loud work environment create a culture where professionalism takes a back seat. Success often seems less dependent on performance than on whether you're part of the "in" crowd. If a favored leader or influential employee decides they don't like you, your contributions quickly become irrelevant. Even when concerns are documented, supported with evidence, and raised through the appropriate leadership channels, employees can find themselves facing retaliation rather than resolution. Although the company advertises a hybrid work model, there is significant pressure to be in the office nearly every day, with employees who don't conform experiencing negative consequences. The company publicly promotes values around inclusion, respect, and corporate responsibility, but my experience did not reflect those messages. The gap between the company's external branding and its internal culture was striking. My direct manager regularly yelled, cursed at me, and made insulting remarks. Sexist jokes and comments from leaders were not uncommon, and management failed to address this behavior despite being aware of it. Instead of investigating concerns or holding people accountable, retaliation appeared to be the preferred response. After many years in the workforce, this was the most unprofessional and dysfunctional organization I've encountered. Before accepting a position, I would strongly encourage prospective employees to read reviews from former employees across multiple platforms and consider recurring themes carefully.
