Pros
Made some good friends here
Cons
- Being in the office from 7:30 am-5:30 pm while making $31,000 a year. That is about $12 / hour for an agonizing, stressful, horrible job - Women must wear heels and men must wear suits - Constantly playing favorites in the office. If you don't drink the Kool-Aid, you will be fired or put on a "growth plan" aka they want to fire you - When you get your first placement as a recruiter, you have to dance in front of the entire office - Managers telling women to wear more make up and style their hair more - There is no transparency in the workplace. Everything is said behind each other's backs. Constant drama, gossip and talking behind people's back. - If you are unhappy, you CANNOT talk to management about it or they will fire you. - They don't give you access to LinkedIn Recruiter until you are promoted to a Senior Recruiter, but expect you to make enough placements without this tool to get promoted. - You are just a number to management, not an employee or even a person. - Recruiters are forced to encourage candidates to accept the LOWEST rate possible, significantly below market value, so the Account Managers make a higher commission - Had to go on anxiety medication because of this place and multiple people had stomach ulcers from the stress - There was next to zero diversity when I was working there
