Pros
Great stepping stone out of college, can grow professionally and make great money quickly… but only if you’re lucky or work twice as hard as everyone else. You learn how to survive in the corporate world and do gain some valuable skills. If you were in Greek life, this company feels like the outgrown adult version of a that - so if that’s what you’re into, you’d probably enjoy working here.
Cons
Management and Leadership are corrupt. So many things are swept under the rug, and managers will always chose favorites. Equal treatment across everyone is promised, but rarely is followed through. Insight Global emphasizes their core values everywhere, with one of them being “Always Know Where You Stand”. You won’t know where you stand, decisions are made behind your back, and everything is being covered up. Each office is ran entirely different, so maybe you’ll get lucky with a great leader. Management gossips about other management on team events. Your boss leading team Zone meetings, reprimanding everyone for low numbers, and even throwing out curse words at your team while speaking to them on a video call. If you put in your notice, you do not get to finish out your last 2 weeks. If you try and give them a longer heads up notice you’re leaving to help them find a backfill in the meantime, they rip away your bonuses and hard earned cash incentives. It is nearly impossible to live off the first 6 months starting salary (ranges per state) unless your parents are paying for your luxury apartment in the city like everyone else you work with. The salaries they keep people at are so below market standards, it’s insane. If you don’t make great commission, you will struggle making ends meet. Everything is a competition, you can see all of your coworkers numbers and essentially their weekly and annual salary across the years.
