Pros

Insight global tries to tell you they are great company when you first start off in your career. Do not trust them!! They target young college graduates to start for their recruiter in training position where you are essentially the bottom of the food chain. In the beginning they show you all the fun events they do, happy hours, and team lunches. But after a few months pass, almost all that disappears and you find yourself working 60+ hours making no commission. I worked at Insight Global for over a year and brought in over $10,000 dollars a week in revenue for more than six months and I never saw a dime of that money. The fact that I made the company well over $240k within those six months and didn't see a dime is a scam. To top it off their salary is well under the living range. The only pro to this company is that some of the people who work here are really good people but the rest of it all just feels like a cult and scam.

Cons

As I mentioned above they do not give you any commission until you are in a promoted position which normally takes from 8 months - 1 year. The worst part is that the first $3,000 dollars of that commission you still don't see, it's only after you pass 3k and up they give you a whopping 7% of commission, that's only based on every dollar after the 3k. They also have extremely high turn over rates. Each year over 10-30 people quit from each office and they just replace them like they are nothing. This company does not value their people, they do not provide a living wage salary, and they promote toxic environments for young professionals. Do not join this staffing company, when there are much better staffing companies such as Areotek or Teksystems who gives you commission after a month or so. Insight global functions as a fraternity/cult and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

If you are competitive and actually want to make money, the culture here is unmatched. They train you incredibly well from day one, so you never feel lost. The promotion path is super clear you literally get out what you put in. My team has been incredibly supportive and everyone genuinely wants to see you win

Cons

It's an absolute grind, not gonna lie. The hours can be really long, especially during your first year when you're trying to build your book of business. If you hate cold calling or can't handle high-pressure metrics, you probably wont't survive here

Pros

Lots of virtue signaling. Halloween was huge.

Cons

IG has one of the most toxic workplace cultures I've experienced. Poor leadership, cliquish behavior, constant office drama, frequent verbal abuse, and an excessively loud work environment create a culture where professionalism takes a back seat. Success often seems less dependent on performance than on whether you're part of the "in" crowd. If a favored leader or influential employee decides they don't like you, your contributions quickly become irrelevant. Even when concerns are documented, supported with evidence, and raised through the appropriate leadership channels, employees can find themselves facing retaliation rather than resolution. Although the company advertises a hybrid work model, there is significant pressure to be in the office nearly every day, with employees who don't conform experiencing negative consequences. The company publicly promotes values around inclusion, respect, and corporate responsibility, but my experience did not reflect those messages. The gap between the company's external branding and its internal culture was striking. My direct manager regularly yelled, cursed at me, and made insulting remarks. Sexist jokes and comments from leaders were not uncommon, and management failed to address this behavior despite being aware of it. Instead of investigating concerns or holding people accountable, retaliation appeared to be the preferred response. After many years in the workforce, this was the most unprofessional and dysfunctional organization I've encountered. Before accepting a position, I would strongly encourage prospective employees to read reviews from former employees across multiple platforms and consider recurring themes carefully.
