Pros
there are jobs available through them on contract, many if you're desperate. the places you could end up working for could be great and you would go months and months without hearing from Insight Global management. my best advice is if you're getting the gig through Insight Global become very forgettable to them and you won't have to deal with them. I'm doing that. pay is on time, and they're helpful if you have a pay issue and quick to try to get pay issues correct.
Cons
pay issues are the only issues that have gone smooth. when attempting to get pay increase was attacked verbally for asking for it, insight global management used shame and derision tactics in attempt to dissuade from the idea that a pay increase was even something i could hardly be worthy for, seriously! was given misinformation during the interview process. doesn't seen like the recruiters and vendor management know what is involved in the positions they staff for either. as a contractor expect many shops to treat you very differently than the other salaried employees that actually work for the company where you're working as a contractor. some shops aren't bad but others can be very bad, by the airs that they put upon, as bad as blaming their mistakes on the vendors and contractors, etc., and at worse making drama in regards to the contractor where the organizations HR dept gets involved. I've seen people get fired because they were friends with people who got fired! this specifically isn't Insight Global's fault, but when you try to communicate with either Insight Global or the shop where you're working at expect to be packing your bags and being walked out by security. Have thick skin if you're in a place where you can't find any other work and you take a gig with Insight Global. It's a gamble, you could end up somewhere great where you might have an opportunity to get your foot in the door and only have to deal with Insight Global's crappy management, or you could get something where there are "red badges vs blue badges" WHILE you're dealing with Insight Global's crappy management.
