Pros

I now know what type of place I will never work and what my threshold is for tolerating terrible people. I met a couple decent people there. They also didn't stick around. I also got a few free lunches out of working there.

Cons

Work related: No real training. Expected to interview and recommend candidates for IT roles with no knowledge or training in IT. When asking my account manager and direct supervisor questions was blatantly talked down to or ignored (wouldn't even acknowledge my presence) When I asked for how I could improve I was told to "figure it out in my own." Everyone starts at very low entry level pay. After rent, car/phone payments and other bills, I was living off about $40/week for food and other expenses Culture: When I told my frustration at the position to a fellow employee, she told my account manager. At which point I was taken aside and again yelled at and belittled. Very cut throat. Back stabbing. Upper management trash talks lower level recruiters behind closed doors. Very much like working in a sorority. You could hit all your numbers and if a couple account managers aren't a fan of you there won't be that promotion they dangle in front of you. On an office trip I witnessed a group caught doing cocaine by the office manager. They all kept their jobs. While another young kid woke up the next morning before everyone else, cooked breakfast for himself and girl friend but not the 40 other people there. He was yelled at and belittled on the spot, then let go Monday for being inconsiderate and not a cultural fit. We were told to write positive reviews on Glass Door and several other job posting sites in the office. I had nothing good to say so I refused....I was also asked not to post anything negative about the company when I left. I lasted 3 months there, which I'd guess is pretty close to average. But I was doing phone interviews in my car during lunch breaks after my first month. Young fresh out of college kids who sometimes make a lot of money if they jump through enough hoops. If you make it and can stomach all of the above, you will do great.

Pros

Lots of virtue signaling. Halloween was huge.

Cons

IG has one of the most toxic workplace cultures I've experienced. Poor leadership, cliquish behavior, constant office drama, frequent verbal abuse, and an excessively loud work environment create a culture where professionalism takes a back seat. Success often seems less dependent on performance than on whether you're part of the "in" crowd. If a favored leader or influential employee decides they don't like you, your contributions quickly become irrelevant. Even when concerns are documented, supported with evidence, and raised through the appropriate leadership channels, employees can find themselves facing retaliation rather than resolution. Although the company advertises a hybrid work model, there is significant pressure to be in the office nearly every day, with employees who don't conform experiencing negative consequences. The company publicly promotes values around inclusion, respect, and corporate responsibility, but my experience did not reflect those messages. The gap between the company's external branding and its internal culture was striking. My direct manager regularly yelled, cursed at me, and made insulting remarks. Sexist jokes and comments from leaders were not uncommon, and management failed to address this behavior despite being aware of it. Instead of investigating concerns or holding people accountable, retaliation appeared to be the preferred response. After many years in the workforce, this was the most unprofessional and dysfunctional organization I've encountered. Before accepting a position, I would strongly encourage prospective employees to read reviews from former employees across multiple platforms and consider recurring themes carefully.
