-lied to in interview about pay expectation (but this is a sales org, so what should I have expected)
-gaslit about a chronic illness that would keep me out periodically. Was told to “show more grit”
-if the manager sends a text that doesn’t get enough interaction in a group chat, she would act like a child and intimidate the team to reply and interact with every text from her, including outside of work hours
-as with sales organizations, management refuses to acknowledge market context which would cause the job to be difficult. Historically bad jobs market recently, and management maintains the same expectations and applies to same pressure for performance.
-management DEMANDED gossip. If they discovered you kept something from them, work related or private, they would complain.
-the pay is nearly at the poverty line for crying out loud
-management plays favorites. Higher performing recruiters with more tenure would get overlooked for, to be totally honest, more sorority like personalities with less experience and performance
-because of the above point, managers and leaders are often immature (as you can tell by the text message point)
-went on a company trip that was mandatory, I had to share a room with someone I didn’t know, and ended up having to listen to the person having sex with another employee in the other bed
The list can go on, but my fingers are tired.
