Don't do it - Shift Lead Insomnia Cookies Employee Review

Pros

If you work behind the counter, you get some free and discounted cookies.

Cons

During a rush, like when the bars get out, you can get long lines, lots of delivery orders, and some pretty frustrating (often drunk) customers. Cashiers/"bakers" may be surveilled at all times. There is also high turnover, so you may not be able to rely on people (especially delivery drivers) being there when you need them for their shifts.

Pros

One of the few companies that are fully operational during the “night owl” hours. The cookies are absolutely delicious, and employees are encouraged to try them all and share the cookie bounty! Staff was incredibly friendly and diversified, and management was available and approachable. Stores are well organized, everything is labeled and within easy reach, making every shift run smoother

Cons

Employees should be given more training, especially drivers commuting from other parts of town. There are “guidelines” (aka rules) posted everywhere and it was a little excessive, which may be more indicative of the times we live in, though.
