Pros

Insomnia Swag gear when you meet milestones with the company, non corporate feel environment, alot of promoting with in for certain selected individuals, diversed company.

Cons

If you are a person that doesnt like to be micromanaged this is not the company for you. They do not care and value their employees and turnover is extremely high for a bakery. Your bonuses are tied to your sales and labor however they make your numbers and projections so high that they are unrealistic. Problems are never solved when addressed if its not something to higher leadership likings then no one cares. This is not a friendly company. Most communication is done via email and corporate email ettiquette is rude for the most part. Unprofessionalism, unorganized, lack of communication at its finest. Also this is one of the lowest paid companies as well. Do your homework and do some research. There are great companies out there that value there employees and treat them with the respect they deserve. Btw, Insomnia hires anyone to be a manager so dont think your too special. Easy interviews.

Pros

One of the few companies that are fully operational during the “night owl” hours. The cookies are absolutely delicious, and employees are encouraged to try them all and share the cookie bounty! Staff was incredibly friendly and diversified, and management was available and approachable. Stores are well organized, everything is labeled and within easy reach, making every shift run smoother

Cons

Employees should be given more training, especially drivers commuting from other parts of town. There are “guidelines” (aka rules) posted everywhere and it was a little excessive, which may be more indicative of the times we live in, though.
