Pros
Free cookie A good bit of their employees are good people. Failing business allows for a lot of free time for schoolwork or gaming. Even though they tell you not to bring your school work with you.
Cons
Serious issue with constant messaging from GM. Lack of communication. Most delivery jobs pay better. Zero sensitivity training for upper management, at least from what I’ve experienced. There is a significant amount of homophobia and transphobia exhibited in the store due to ignorance or just straight up malice. General gaslighting and dodging blame from upper management. Constantly seeking business ideas/advice for free from employees. Extremely unprofessional work environment. Some drivers bring their posse to work. GM tells people to drink on events or just brings alcohol for certain underage employees. Manipulative power dynamic created by upper management in order to control the bleeding from upper managements mismanagement. Blame. There is no responsibility from upper management concerning workday responsibilities and blatant lies about conditions at work. Any time somebody gets tired of constantly receiving messages while they are OFF WORK the employee, from what I have seen is promptly fired or written up to ensure lack of retaliation; regardless of validity. Management scores itself quite high across the board and HR never reaches out to receive actual realistic input. The app both old and new are disasters. The new one allows you to save every customers delivery information even days after you’ve delivered it. App gives you their full name. Scheduling. The schedule will OFTEN come out just 9 hours before the next shift starts. That means if you work close on Sunday, you may very well be opening on Monday, just 6 hours later and have no idea. They also make you work times you have made clear you are unavailable for upon hiring. Drivers only get half the delivery fee. Payroll is unclear on money paid and actually difficult to access for most. Bonuses are consistently forgotten about when they’ve been rightfully earned. Hours are sporadic and given through nepotism. Finally, our drivers are contracted to only drive. Making them do anything else is a violation of contract, which is constantly done. And drivers shouldn’t have to bring THEIR money for the delivery bank! What if they get robbed?
