Pros

The cookies are good. The trainer that we had was excellent!

Cons

Insomnia does not treat their employees as if they matter. First off, there is no harmony internally. The stores get mad when you have to call them for an update, if the call volume is high the managers will not jump into the cue to help, and the reps are overworked and treated like red headed step children when they do the MAJORITY of the work. When the call volume is high, "supervisors" will not jump on to assist, they will just tell the reps how good of a job they are doing while on the phone. They do not give good benefits. You can accumulate PTO but you cannot use it for your first 12 MONTHS on the job, BUT they will allow you to use accumulated sick time....make sense to you, because it makes absolutely NONE to me. They changed the frequency in which raises were given but were the reps notified of that change, NOPE. They also made the decision to move the headquarters from Newtown Square to Philadelphia. Did they feel that it was important for the call center reps to know that tidbit of information? YOU guessed it....NOPE! They systems are glitchy...no one is on the same page...this is just a fire ready to blow things up if they do not fix their issues!

Pros

One of the few companies that are fully operational during the “night owl” hours. The cookies are absolutely delicious, and employees are encouraged to try them all and share the cookie bounty! Staff was incredibly friendly and diversified, and management was available and approachable. Stores are well organized, everything is labeled and within easy reach, making every shift run smoother

Cons

Employees should be given more training, especially drivers commuting from other parts of town. There are “guidelines” (aka rules) posted everywhere and it was a little excessive, which may be more indicative of the times we live in, though.
