It is great to see the comments on our great culture, particularly our flexible environment and strong compensation. Thank you for also providing feedback on the complexity of our business and the need for more training, particularly for new team members. We have just announced the creation of a new L&D function and added a seasoned executive to help build this function and launch more programs which we will start to see in the 2023 calendar year.

Pros

Good pay, some tolerable employees, lunch perk (when people aren’t taking your lunches), commuter friendly location

Cons

* The office floods more often than it should, and when it happens you’re expected to figure it out by working from home or out of backup spaces that aren’t great * There are basic respect issues that never get addressed, like people taking each other’s lunches, which says a lot about the culture * The company talks a lot about diversity, but the office itself doesn’t really reflect that * A lot of middle managers seem overwhelmed or unprepared to actually lead, so direction is often unclear * There’s a weird pressure at times to take on things that aren’t really your responsibility * When something goes wrong, it’s common for blame to get passed around instead of actually solving the problem * Parts of the culture feel more like a clique than a professional workplace * Drinking in the office is treated as normal and even encouraged, which can feel uncomfortable depending on the situation. At times, the environment became unprofessional during social events, and concerns around behavior did not seem to be taken seriously by HR. * There are frequent breakdowns in execution, and things fall through the cracks more than they should * The NYC office itself has a lot of ongoing issues and doesn’t feel well thought out for day to day work * Some leadership decisions are made by people who don’t seem to have the experience or support needed for the role * Overall, the environment can feel disorganized and, at times, more chaotic than collaborative
