Pros
It's a mindless job for agents once you learn the applications. Good for college students who want to get a paycheck every 2 weeks and all they need to do is show up
Cons
The company is a lose lose situation. They have let tenured employees go for the past 2 years like I've never seen before. Dedicated employees with 6-8 years of service; people who did above & beyond their job with a passion. They have a filthy facility. I worked there nearly 6 years and they never once cleaned the air system out. From the time you arrive for your shift, you are coughing, sneezing and requiring allergy medicines to get through the shift. They have had at least major plumbing back ups in the six years I was there, one forf which the company was investigated, for their lack of concern for the employees health & well-being. The 1st party collections side has been notorious for promising referral & contest bonuses, and not paying them out for months, and in many cases, ever. They require a number of goals for the management team to meet for a monthly bonus, and if they term you for some reason, they say you are not entitled to those bonuses because you are no longer employed, even though you performed and met all goals for the month the bonus was concerning (your monthly bonus always comes at the end of the following susequent month). The employee breakroom refrigerators usually have containers of mold thriving in them, and they generally provide 1 working microwave for all the employees to use. You use it at your own risk unless you have time to clean & sanitize it yourself. They will use & abuse you for everything they can squeeze out of you, and then drop you faster than you can blink an eye.
